The Mac is also missing from GOG, I hope the Linux version makes it there too as I like these pixelated management sims.

I haven't heard of these projects before, Tiberian Sun remains one of my fav in the series.

Amazing work, although DX10 wasn't very popular I'm sure sooner or later I will find a use for this feature. Thanks for your work.

I don't believe Wine/DXVK has an effect with a devs' support, some companies refuse outright to support our platform and the ones that do still provide native games despite the Win version running perfectly in Wine.

For one I'm grateful these 2 amazing project exist, unfortunately it's not always possible for a game to come to Linux and it's nice to know there's still a way to play them.

Bought it an hour ago, really enjoying it so far and it doesn't require a monster PC so I can play it on my laptop.

Quoting: aukkrasI'm kinda disappointed by GOG. Obsidian made Linux version of this DLC and it's available on Steam... GOG only updated Windows and Mac versions, not only that - some other free DLCs for Linux haven't been updated too (like "Critical Role Pack" which stays at 1.02 version and 3 others have version gog-1 which says nothing) :/

Some Linux DLC installers on GOG don't get an update because they don't need it, for example the Cosmo Pet DLC and the Captain's Footlocker DLC are in reality just a text file which tell the game to enable the content.

If you manually disassemble the Windows installers (which I did prior to posting this) of these same DLC, you'll get the same file including the same MD5. Technically for Windows and Mac, all GOG does is relabel and repack them using the latest version number, nothing more.

Quoting: GuestHmm, sticking to GoG as well as I love the fact I own the game and do not need an heavy client, but it's true it gets annoying to keep track of all DLC and DLC updates and install them manually one by one. Well, it takes a minute once in a while :-) Also there tends to be little delays / issues with the Linux archives but that gets settled eventually. Not such a big deal as far as I'm concerned :)

Today I made a script which automatically repacks all the PoE 2 DLC's into a single tar.gz file, see here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/general_linux_faq_and_troubleshooting/post1249

With a few alterations, the script can be adapted for other games :-)

Open source Morrowind game engine OpenMW 0.44 released

Glad this project is still going, Morrowind is my fav TES game, Skyrim coming in second. Looking forward to 1.0

What are you playing this weekend?

I picked up Turok today, it's my first playthrough and loving it so much. The level design is by far my favorite part of this game, the platforming, puzzles and the way you unlock levels is well put together.

On the technical aspect, the Linux port is brilliant so far - 3hrs in and not a single crash.

The space 4x strategy game 'Star Ruler 2' is now open source

Massive respect to these devs, I'm not into 4X games since I suck at them but I'll make an exception for this and buy it at the end of the month. I wish more people did this.
