Quoting: scaineAnd it's 75% off in the summer sale now too! Looks great. The moment the penguin symbol appears on Steam next to their title, I'll be buying it.
It won't get that symbol for a while since it's only just about to enter closing testing.

Thanks for letting us know Scott, wish you all the best.

I really do hope this gives you guys enough resources to get more than 0 people in on your desktop client (Desurium), that is unless you are moving to 100% web based stand alone downloads?

Quoting: FutureSutureCan any of you tell me how Unvanquished [External Link] compares to Natural Selection 2?
Apart from the graphical quality difference it does play very differently, partly due to being far more complete than Unvanquished. The gameplay is a little bit slower as well in NS2 and just feels better.

Well this is going far off the point of the article ;)

There is no issue for me, but for others the issue would be Steam's DRM and I have been quite open on my views on it, I don't mind it but I see why others might - Hence the need for DRM Free downloads too.

For me I use Linux because it's free and I can customize it however I see fit, I also tend to get better performance than Windows.

This is why we ask developers if it's possible to get DRM Free downloads as well as Steam.

As for Windows only titles, again we are getting there but we need to reach out to developers.

Personally though for me it isn't much of an issue, especially since I don't see Linux going anywhere especially when it's free and open source anyone can pick it up, the issue for me isn't the OS at all.
