It would need to be valve porting it as its their code.

Quoting: "Bumadar, post: 2479"it won't happen, sorry, if the engine your using does not run on linux then that's it. You really think they gone port the source engine to linux for their game, if anybody then it should be valve doing that.Agreed i dont think it will come.

Finding a Linux specific vendor in the UK is near impossible, any that do offer VERY limited options.
Yeah my next buy after this notebook will most likely be an AMD fusion laptop since they will be perfectly supported. Just the current crop didn't have the performance i wanted.

It is the only place because i am the only one as far as i know that Keith told. Also updating the post in a second with Scotts official reply.
Edit -> Post has been updated, so you know we are also the website that interviewed Keith before and we are quoted in two official Desura blog posts - I don't pull news out of my backside ;)

I'm not sure exactly how it worked before for Alex but upon looking into DoD on Humble you can actually set how much you pay to them, they are directly included into the Developer bit where you chose where your money goes to, so for DoD it may work out better, I don't know if that was also the case for Alex.
