Stadia looks to be very limited at launch and not just the amount of games

Given the high price of entry for the Founder and Premier Editions it's a bit laughable really.
The Founders Edition includes:

1x Chromecast Ultra (approx. 80 Euro)
-> https://store.google.com/de/product/chromecast_ultra [External Link]
1x Stadia Controller (approx. 70 Euro)
-> https://store.google.com/de/product/stadia_controller [External Link]

Alone with the hardware one would have a price of 150€. There are the three months Stadia Pro, the limited edition of the controller and the Buddy Pass for three months Stadia Pro and the possibility to reserve your player name early is not included yet.

For this content a bundle price of 129€ is really not expensive.

Excuse me, but if something is a little laughable, then it is this statement.
Seems you missed my point completely, my entire point was on the game lineup and feature list, not what you get in the box. Regardless of the hardware, you had no choice on getting them to access it right away.

The fact that no one emails in or tips off in Discord/Telegram/Forum/Twitter/Mastodon and all the others tells me there's not much interest or point in covering them here. As far as I can remember, you're the only person to request it in comments too. If interest did pick up, then I probably would cover more of them.

Quoting: dpanterDead on arrival might be a bit harsh but things sure aren't looking great right now for Stadia, or even in the near future. Interesting to see what happens.

Can Google really compete with the gaming powerhouses like Valve, Sony and M$?

While they have a lot to do to win people over, they have a huge advantage with YouTube and Android control.

Quoting: Avehicle7887Did Google run out of money or something, to be honest that list looks awful and Pixel only phones is severely limited, I would have expected it to work at least on a desktop at release.

People buying this = paying to beta test it.
It does work on a desktop.

"Adult Games" are not something I play and they're almost never emailed in by anyone, not users or PR teams. So you're not likely to see more of that any time soon.

Quoting: The_Aquabatlately I've playing Kalypso's Sudden Strike 4 it's an excellent game also very tactical, we are lucky of having Kalypso among linux publishers, they have some pretty neat games.

I don't know why on their online store [External Link] they don't sell Linux keys!
They're just Steam keys, so each game that has Linux support does state it when you go to the game page.

Quoting: TuxeePlanned release date June 2013.

I noticed you have a pretty aggressive release date. Can you actually finish the game by then?

Yes! Most of the heavy technology work is already done, and HTML5/Impact makes updating quick and easy. In addition, after Contract Work goes live I can easily add additional content and features. I'm very confident that Contract Work will be available for everyone to play starting June 2013.

Looking at their older videos, it's a good thing it was delayed, it looks a huge amount better.

Quoting: scaineI've wishlisted it too. The update says "if anyone wants to test, reply to this thread", but there are no permissions to reply on that thread. I'm guessing it's locked down to only allow replies from people who own the game, but it sure confused me!
Looks open to me?
