Quoting: belisamaAugmented Steam does show ratings. For example, if you look at the page for Staxel (https://store.steampowered.com/app/405710/Staxel/ [External Link]) you can see "ProtonDB Rating: borked".
I've just installed the extension, but apart from the ProtonDb links (which i've had to enable in the preferences), i can't see anything proton related ("ctrl-f -> 'proton' " returns just one match, the link to the protondb page)
Using it on firefox, where is it supposed to be?

Thanks!
I did test before writing, it does not have the feature. There is an open request for it: https://github.com/tfedor/AugmentedSteam/issues/255 [External Link]

Quoting: x_wingYou will have a hard time finding the game, Liam. It completely vanished from earth unfortunately.

Fortunately I still have my copy somewhere (Spanish version), if I have the time I'll test this during the weekend :D
There's always ebay...

Quoting: trawzWait, the installation is that easy? Lol, I thought I had to compile the whole package myself so I followed all of the steps to set up a virtual environment and it took like 2 hours to compile <.< Glad to know about the faster way, thanks for mentioning it.
Happy to help. That was initially what I thought when being told about these tools originally but nope, extract the folder and put it in the right place and job done. Lovely stuff. Happy to spread the word.

As always, just here to provide interesting news, what people do with it is their choice :)

Quoting: TcheyComparing with Minecraft is quite missleading, i think.
Depends how it's compared. In terms of style, yes they are very similar and it's not in any way misleading to say so. They're both survival type games but the gameplay does seem to be vastly different. Only the style was mentioned in comparison, nothing else.

The Wine 4.15 development release is out now

Quoting: elmapul" Wine is part of Steam Play (Proton) "
actually, wine is an stand alone project but its also used by proton, the way you wrote this sentence make its look like its the opposite
I don't agree there, its a fact. It is part of Steam Play Proton. It's about context and the following text explained it more. You can take any single sentence without the rest of the text from a lot of places and say they mean something different..

Either way I've done a really small adjustment.

Abandon Ship, a naval adventure game with an oil painting inspired art-style is now on Linux

Quoting: subSorry. Oil painting art style?

If they think 2003 3d graphics resembles an "oil painting"... well. :D
The way it's styled, I certainly understand how they can say it's inspired by classic naval oil paintings. There's a lot of finer touches they've put into it to make it seem that way.

As for "2003 3d", I think that's a really weird thing to say, the game overall looks fantastic.

Quoting: toorWell... I'll pass. After waiting for years, still no gog galaxy. My money will go to stores where they support linux more seriously
Galaxy have macOs support and yet there are still missing macOS releases for certain games.
What do you think mac users are saying?
Like I already said, Galaxy it's not the holy grail. I seriously think even with Galaxy on Linux, we would still have missing Linux releases.
In the era of Epic Store, which doesn't support Linux, I must admit I am still somewhat surprised people actually *want* another client. At least for GOG, you can download direct from the site or use Lutris or a number of other open source download/update tools for it.

One of our favourite games Slay the Spire is getting even better on Linux with a new beta up

To add to what others are saying, it's all about how you play. For me, it's the fun of building up Relics and unleashing some ridiculous combinations.

Also, the modding support is awesome. Some pretty game-changing stuff to be found and extra characters to add in too.
