Quoting: flavioHi! Thank you very much for the article and for the comments! :)

One question. You wrote:

Gamepads do seem to work but they're a little finicky right now. You have to manually turn it on in the options, otherwise it will work in the menu but not in an actual race.
May I ask you for a suggestion? Should I automatically use the gamepad if it is connected? Thanks! :)
Just enable them both together? If gamepad is connected, then show gamepad prompts. One input shouldn't block the other from working though.

Quoting: KlaasCodeweavers needs to be able to show that they have a clean room implementation of Microsoft technology if they want to be on the safe side. They are only able to do that if they don't employ someone that has looked at the original code or tried to de-assemble original code.
Are you stating their code is not " a clean room implementation of Microsoft technology " ?
How did you get that from what Klaas said? They can't employ people who've seen MSFT code or reverse-engineered it, so that their own code is clean. We can't make this much clearer...

Fair point, I agree. Done.

Quoting: EhvisSeems things are not quite working for me with the "updates overlay" on the site. Nothing on there is clickable for. Neither the discuss button, nor the social media links do anything other than closing the overlay.
Yeah it seems they are still updating it. Yesterday it had a scrollbar of its own, today it shares the main page scrollbar and I also cannot click on anything...oof.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPI hope it will let me disable that "recent news" section (or it will be gone altogether), as all that gets filled with is "quality journalism" from RPS and the likes.
IIRC the auto-aggregation of news will be totally gone in the new client, because it inadvertently promoted Epic news in the recent times.
Not quite. I just read on Ars [External Link], that seems to indicate it will expand to include more sites based on who follows them. Will be interesting to see how they handle that and if we get included somehow...

Quoting: belisamaAugmented Steam does show ratings. For example, if you look at the page for Staxel (https://store.steampowered.com/app/405710/Staxel/ [External Link]) you can see "ProtonDB Rating: borked".
I've just installed the extension, but apart from the ProtonDb links (which i've had to enable in the preferences), i can't see anything proton related ("ctrl-f -> 'proton' " returns just one match, the link to the protondb page)
Using it on firefox, where is it supposed to be?

Thanks!
I did test before writing, it does not have the feature. There is an open request for it: https://github.com/tfedor/AugmentedSteam/issues/255 [External Link]
Well, I am very confused because the Augmented Steam I have installed on Firefox already does exactly this. https://prnt.sc/p1p3mh [External Link] You can see the rating on the right hand side and when you click on it, it takes you to Staxel's ProtonDB page (https://www.protondb.com/app/405710 [External Link]). I can confirm that it is very handy.
That looks more like the linked Firefox plugin in the article, I know as it's the exact one I use same location on the Steam page and all. Check your plugins :)

Quoting: PhiladelphusI'm really confused seeing Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition on there
It's the predecessor, not the sequel. The first one already has a Definitive Edition. The second one has an 'HD Remaster', but is getting a Definitive Edition as well in the future. Yes, it's a bit confusing :)
This, the key is the "(2013)" in the name.
