From what I hear from developers, GOG also updated their tooling in the last ~two months to enable developers to use the proper upload tools for Linux builds just like Windows/Mac have. A good step forward. Perhaps even a needed step towards Galaxy, but we're certainly not being forgotten by them.

From what I remember of the intro, it was something about the internet being used during the attack and the government has gone wild to lock the island down.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can grumble at the price. This was a professionally made game, just like any other. The tech behind it is mostly meaningless against what the game itself is worth.
