Just spoke to the people behind the Ubuntu NVIDIA PPA. It should hopefully be up soon.

Quoting: evergreenIt's incredible! You are faster than Dr.Larabel!
Nah, he posted about it earlier I think. I don't consider anything a race though, as always I just post what's interesting and sometimes I plan to cover something like this and it slips through :)

Valve gave out more details about Artifact, including some public APIs and pre-order is up

Quoting: liamdaweConsidering how much such packs cost for real-life card games, that price is actually quite reasonable I think.
I'm not sure it's pertinent to compare the two... Considering how different the production means and costs are and the fact that you don't have to pay for distribution and resellers, I'd be upset if those virtual cards were not noticeably cheaper than real ones. Add the fact that Valve will get a cut of every player trade on top of selling the cards in the first place, and Wizards of the Coast should be jealous if this becomes popular ^_^
Considering the cost of a single starter deck for stuff in the UK, it's vastly cheaper to buy Artifact. You also get the convenience factor on top of that, being able to play anyone anywhere. I'm happy with the pricing personally.

SteamOS has nothing to do with Ubuntu
They are both Debian based. And SteamOS is based on exactly the same versions UbuntuLTS is based on. I am pretty sure SteamOS is more or less Ubuntu for all intends and purposes... Well it does not have the same desktop theme, i give you that...
No, just no. SteamOS is SteamOS, Ubuntu is Ubuntu. They're actually quite different beasts.

Quoting: michaFor those playing the demo from Itch.io and the game appears to be frozen after launch:
For me on Ubuntu there's a dialog hidden behind the game window that the game doesn't react and giving you the option to wait or force quit. That hidden dialog seems to capture all inputs. After switching to it and choosing choosing wait the game runs well. :-)
Happens on a lot of Unity games, I've moaned about it quite a lot :(

Well, you're also keeping a Linux-focused business going for brownie points.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPI hope they fix the graphics bugs soon. It is basically unplayable with the lower 30-40% of the screen flickering around. I don't know where you get your idea of "minor" from...
As mentioned, that doesn't even happen on Intel. Additionally, I found it to be quite minor as it doesn't actually stop anything working and it was still enjoyable.
