Quoting: LeopardI have a question.

I never played anything related to Borderlands. Should i pick Borderlands 2?
Borderlands 2 is the better one, The Pre-Sequel isn't as good. Borderlands 2 is really fun, if you like shooters with tons of random loot and awesome weapons.

Quoting: killyouGuys, to be honest this is it. We already had the best out of the "linux gaming" movement, now it's loosing momentum. There will be some more games but it will not get any better than it is right now. It might get worse though. We will not exit the artificial life support phase unless something happens on the Microsoft - Valve front.
I think you're being incredibly pessimistic. Nothing about Linux gaming is losing momentum. SteamOS is not the start and end of Linux gaming. I've found the experience of Linux gaming to get better year on year.
Do you find that there is more to report on year over year? If it is increasing or decreasing are we looking at a linear change or a curve? I suspect many of us are caught up counting volume of big name releases without paying much attention to the growth of development framework or even attention returning to old projects.
My inbox is always full of developers wanting some attention, this year more than ever.

The problem is the same as always, hyped up expectations that Linux gaming would have exploded. It's a slow, steady improvement every year.

Quoting: KelsAs the video says, it's also available on Itch.io [External Link], and it's on sale there as well for 50% off. Although for some reason the store page on my client doesn't say that.
Correct. In my utter excitement about the game I totally forgot. Thanks, added.

Quoting: razing32Hmm .How are the ships obtained ?
Do you just level up as you play ? Or is it like War Thunder (World of tanks etc) where you have to grind for new vehicles ?
I've added more information to be clearer on that.

Mantis Burn Racing needs more support if it is to come to Linux

I still think showing developers there's a demand can be important, we've seen multiple titles come over to Linux as a result of showing a little demand. It won't always work of course, sometimes developers just won't do it. Even so, if there's a game I would personally like to play, spending a minute or two telling the developer that doesn't really cost me anything.

In this case, I think you're right that it seems the game as a whole is struggling, which doesn't help.

It's extremely important for search engines actually. It helps to distinguish our news from normal Windows news.

It's simply not implemented yet - nor apparently do they have any plans to do so;

You're reading it wrong, he was replying to someone else. They are working on it, of course as it's in the game menu as "Coming Soon".
