I now have keys, more information will come when we have it :)

Update: It doesn't currently work, I'm speaking to the developer about fixing it.

Quoting: HollowSoldierSo the article says the game is broken, without any form of technical information about in what form it is broken. Does it not launch? Does it not render properly? What's the issue?
To quote the article:
completely broken
Did you really need an in depth paragraph on what completely broken means? It doesn't work, at all.
You mean they're distributing JPEG images instead of executables? This is naming an shaming, nothing more.
What on earth are you talking about? I really don't even understand your comment. If that was the case, I would have obviously said something.

The game is broken, they know [External Link] it's broken.

Didn't forget, just not relevant to our audience ;)
Well, indirect it is. Targeting Vulkan alone can now be enough to support all three platforms and therefore increasing the chance of Linux support :P
That's only a possibility. Same as a developer going with OpenGL, it makes one part of the puzzle possibly easier for a developer, but it doesn't mean ports will happen. Same with MoltenVK, developers actually have to go and make use of it, I haven't yet heard of any game developers even looking into it, especially since MoltenVK has a cost attached to it.

Burst The Game, the free to play FPS arrives with broken Linux support
28 Aug 2017 at 1:48 pm UTC

Quoting: RedneckFrom what i've understood, the Unreal FPS kit used in the game was made by the developer of Burst itself... I can be wrong though, because i didn't find any evidence but a comment somewhere.
I've not seen any evidence of this, the developer of Burst has a completely different name to the developer of the Unreal FPS kit. I've seen nothing when digging around to match them up. When looking at the Unreal FPS Kit, the resemblance is striking.

There's now a Linux version of ASTROKILL on Steam as promised

Will you pick up a copy to support the developer?
I'll wait until there is a SteamOS icon and the requirements are updated to show Linux. I know the build is available but until that icon is present I'll sit tight.
There's really no need to hold off on that basis unless you're holding off specifically for a stable version, which an Early Acss game is not.
