@Xpander, have you used a different theme for Steam at any point?

Albion Online is a PvP and crafting focused MMO, so everything on the markets and all the gear you get is crafted by either you or someone else.
So what system do they have in place so a new player will be able to actually sell their goods in a market that's bound to be flooded with other low-level crafted material? That was an issue in Wakfu, when I tried playing that.
You don't really need to use the market really, unless you do zero gathering and crafting. I believe the markets are per-town too so each is different.

Quoting: scaineAre there PvE only servers, or is PvP baked into the entire experience. If so, not for me, I'm afraid. Happy to play MMOs, but only in co-op.
There's only one server for the entire thing, which is PvP. PvP is only done in certain zones though.

It tells you how many people are in each zone too, so it can be avoided.

They've never said it would be coming, they have said their reasons why before plenty of times.
Edit: You can read about that here [External Link] btw.

I have to say, I'm really surprised by some of the pessimistic comments being made. Did some people think SteamOS was going to make Linux jump mountains this quickly? It was never going to.

The fact is that it has helped Linux improve in a great many ways in a relatively short amount of time.

It's going to be another good year for us.

Quoting: SlipieI hope that one day they will fix the HiDPI issue:
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/3492 [External Link]

Right now everything on the screen is so tiny by default.
I kinda worked around it with this theme https://github.com/MoriTanosuke/HiDPI-Steam-Skin [External Link] but it makes steam ugly and inconsistent.
Actually one of the apps in a long list that look terrible in HiDPI, I ended up moving back to a 1080p monitor until things can be improved.

@levi, I've come across that issue too many times, so I got into a habit of closing Steam before trying to shutdown. Eventually it seemed to go away for me, but I know for others it was a constant annoyance. It's pleasing to see them fix such things, as it makes the Linux client so much better overall.

Doesn't really warrant a new article, but some trending graphs are now available.

New links on the page "Sections: Monthly | Trends" to switch between them.

Not all questions are included, as tweaks need to be done for each one of them to have it automated properly.

This is using the new Chart.js [External Link] library.

With Microsoft trying to improve their Windows Store or whatever it's called, Valve still needs SteamOS. Imagine if more and more people started actually buying from it eating into Valve's pocket, they need us.
