Quoting: grenadecxAlright, enough now, let's not derail it any more please. Continue it in the forum you if want.Quoting: babaiYou tell us that you're all for freedom, and don't support a freedom friendly company... that makes you a hypocrite. You've clearly no idea what the word hypocrite means, or freedom for that matter.
Fun fact, did I say I do not support AMD?

Quoting: omer666I still think it is their issues, considering I personally tested and livestreamed it before release where it worked far better before a patch seemed to nerf it down. They have still never replied to me on that.Quoting: Mountain ManSpeaking of Cities: Skylines, I wonder when they're going to get the Linux performance issues sorted out?Performance issues are related to Unity engine. While it's getting better, progress is slow. I don't think it's Colossal Order's fault.

Quoting: babaiI would love to, but I don't own any AMD GPU to test with unfortunately. Until the Patreon grows bigger I can't really afford to shell out on some.Quoting: liamdaweYou should remember not everyone uses Linux for just freedom, there's many reasons. You should just accept others choices and move on. Not everyone needs a lecture and we don't need an AMD topic derailed because of it :)Sure Liam! that's why I said earlier that if you use linux for whatever other reasons, its completely fine.
Ohh and can you please benchmark some games like Mordor with the latest patches? (the one's claiming 25% improvements for bioshock infinite)

Quoting: babaiProbably the best fun use of that I've ever seen :DQuoting: liamdaweYeah, I should have probably written "Core Mesa".Quoting: babaialso this fix will probably go into the radeonSI userspace driver and not MESA.Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't radeonSI part of Mesa?
Also, it's Mesa not MESA isn't it? http://www.mesa3d.org/ [External Link] "The Mesa 3D..." :)
I would have labelled you a grammar nazi, but since Linux is case sensitive, you're right, it should be Mesa. :)

Nvidia beta driver 370.23 has initial support for PRIME Synchronization

Quoting: etamRead the paragraphs about "Output" and "Offload". Read the sentence "NVIDIA has no plans to support PRIME render offload at this time.". Say "Fsck you NVIDIA! I'm staying with bumblebee." :/While sad, this is still a really good step in the right direction. It still means if you choose to use the Nvidia GPU you will have a much better experience.
