Quoting: Mountain ManI post news about new games practically every day. It was just a rare Sunday where I took some time away from news (trust me, my inbox is fucking rammed full now).Quoting: Linux tayshadyThe fact that you're posting this news article and not news about big games coming out on Linux is a big tell though.Oh, come on, this website is frequently posting articles about upcoming and just-released games.

Quoting: Tom BI'm not sure why you were seeing problems at 4k, I have no problems at all running it at 4k high settings on a 980ti. (Arch linux, latest kernel/drivers, hex core Xeon X5670 @ 4.2ghz cpu, 32gb ram, inno3d 980ti hybrid).I actually re-ran a test just now and it was running a lot smoother than before, so unsure what my previous issue was at 4K.

Quoting: Shutup-FoolPretty sure pre-loading actually keeps it in some sort of encrypted file, which gets extracted at release.Quoting: m2mg2For those of you who have preloaded it, can you browse local files and see any linux specific files (executables, game related .so files)?I preloaded it, but couldn't find the files. It did take up the space on my drive though. Only a few days to go, but I'm feeling optimistic thanks to the person who got in touch with Koch media.
