Quoting: SabunMaybe it's just me, but you'd think they'd have this working before SteamOS's debut. I'd figure it would have been a boon to say "Hey, look! We've made the Linux numbers go up!" on media sites.

It worries me a little, maybe their anticipation was that it wasn't going to improve the Linux adoption rate or that the numbers wouldn't look as good as hoped.
There's so many things Valve could do/should do, but it takes them a long time. Look at how long it took them to fix the upcoming filter for SteamOS/Linux...

Dying Light's online modes get bigger with The Following, hopefully they actually fix it for Linux

Quoting: XeekeiI also discovered the hard way today, that you can't switch between Windows and Linux and expect your save files to work. Though that was the base game, but I doubt The Following fixes this.
Wow, really? No excuse for that, save files should use a common format for a single game.

Quoting: Renzatic GearI just looked at the recommended specs on Feral's website, and they're recommending the 355.63 drivers to play it on.
I asked Feral about this, because nvidia website does not list or provide any 355.63 driver. Same on their FTP server. I wonder if it is a typo for 352.63.
Maybe they updated 352 to 355 and forgot the part after the dot.
I did contact them on twitter about this and they did reply, but I guess they have been too busy to fix it.

Pretty sure it was the soundtrack, as it was greyed out until now in my DLC list.

If you do come across the purple shadow and blue texture issues: Load a saved game from before you entered the mission and it fixed it for me, it won't fix you others saves though.

Quoting: TheBossUpdated with a screenshot of another issue the Linux client has.
That's not an issue with the game! The second screenshot you're in "incognito mode" as you haven't attacked anyone yet (see the face in the top centre of the screen). It would be good if you updated that part of the review as it looks like you mistook a gameplay option for a bug :)

I guess you might have been a little tired last night :)
Afraid not, compare the first image in the article, with this image I just took of the same save game but in action mode.

The shadows are purple, everything else is rather blue.

Please be aware the Project Resurgence (one of the other projects linked at the bottom) developers have told me they have not tested a Linux build yet, which is why I am not writing it up.
