Quoting: GuestTrue, tools to help develop, test, etc, with Vulkan under Windows will help everywhere really, but I'm a strong supporter of developing directly for GNU/Linux, not just porting to it. Because I'm cynical basically.Yeah, well we all know the reality is quite different for most developers using Windows. I just want Vulkan games to perform well, more tools the better,

It would be pretty weird for them not to bring it to Linux, but either way it's good for us with the future being Vulkan, as Windows developers bringing their games to Linux could still use it.
Edit: I've emailed them for clarification.

Update: After emailing Feral Interactive as their mini-site and newsletter stated different requirements, they have edited their mini-site to only list Nvidia once again.

Quoting: raverrebelAt the moment it is available to buy in the Humble Codemasters Bundle!Like I said in the article, don't buy before a port is out. Always follow that simple rule.
Won't count as linux sale though?

Quoting: darkszlufWell, i wouldn't call it old news. These are my personal thoughts and it's the first time I've talked about such a thing here.Quoting: TheBossHow are my own personal thoughts, old? It has never been clear until recently when they all started getting updated together.they actually were updated same day like for a month, i'm starting to think that they're not ported by VP anymore as this series was removed from their homepage.

Quoting: darkszlufwell this "speculation" is at least a month old :)How are my own personal thoughts, old? It has never been clear until recently when they all started getting updated together.
have you managed to get beta access? my emails to them are still unanswered.
No, I don't have access.
Quoting: abelthorneIt would be quite logical that these three games are ported by the same developers as they use the same engine. Saints Row 4 was first planned as an expansion to SR 3 before being released as a standalone and Gat out of Hell is a standalone expansion to SR 4.Well, VP only confirmed they are doing SR2 & 3, and no one confirmed they are doing the others. So it leads me to believe VP are doing the others with how quickly they all get updated.
Linux is holding exactly where we thought it would in the Steam Hardware Survey

I've seen it happen plenty of times when I used to distro-hop.
Also, for people who get the survey when they go in wine or windows, then log back into their normal Linux client and wonder why they don't get it - you already declined it.
There's really no mystery.

Quoting: wleoncioNot only it's a survey, it's apparently a non-random sample biased against Linux users (there are many testimonials of people never getting those surveys on their Linux partition but getting them frequently on their Windows one), so those OS percentages are probably underestimating the true percentage. The reasoning is simple, to Valve they changed their setup, and need to be re-checked. It's actually perfectly normal, and it's funny when I see people who don't get it.

Quoting: BeamboomWould be nice if the survey were tied to your account, so your earlier submitted answers were filled in automatically. Not possible to do with Google Forms. Although that did give me an interesting idea on making a simple form built by me to do this instead of relying on google.
