Quoting: Mountain ManI think the female skin and other skins were probably an after thought, otherwise how else would they not notice?Quoting: BeamboomI got one - ONE - complaint about SoM, and that's about the game and not Ferals porting. It's in regards to the skins. In every cut-scene or even some special effects ingame the default skin is used. This is probably because some of the cutscenes are in-engine and others are prerendered.
This looks particularly idiotic when you use the female skin. She fades over to being a male now and then, and gawd how that spoils the immersion.
But even while using the male protagonist it is quite annoying to not have the outfit consistent throughout the experience.

My opinion isn't the only one that matters, I am station my opinion in an editorial, that's the entire point. I'm putting down my argument against others.

Quoting: GuestSorry but… you got the game for free and say people shouldn’t complain about the price… And you say we shouldn’t trust the reviews or the posts in the forum… because only your opinion matters? Really…I already laid out the reasons why I think people shouldn't complain about the price. Keep in mind my example of the standalone expansion for Supreme Commander "Forged Alliance". I paid full price for that back then, and I didn't mind then either. I'm talking from direct experience.

It seems the build they posted between me writing this and actually publishing did fix gamepads, will adjust it accordingly.
Doesn't change that the rest of the game isn't great though.

The early access price was to match Kickstarter so we backers didnt feel shafted, yes. That was the only reason, early access buyers knew the price, and purchased it anyway. Even though everyone said it would be much lower at release, only yourselves to blame.
Anyone who is annoyed by this shouldn't buy early access, ever.

Quoting: JudasIscariotMuchas gracias <3Quoting: ricki42Well, this will keep me busy for a while... I don't know if I ever played any of these, I may have played one on the Amiga, they do look familiar.I told Liam about it personally :)
Where did they say that the third collection is coming to Linux? Did they give any estimate for when? Not that there's any rush really, considering how long it's going to take me to just play one of these games...

Personally, i'm just happy we get these games at all.
As long as they run, and run well, I don't really care how they run on Windows, since I don't use it.
The average Windows gamer won't care either, and that is what SteamOS is targetting, advanced users will build themselves a rig and/or stick with Windows.

Myself and Samsai played it online together, he won obviously!
I think it's pretty decent, and quite a unique strategy game.
Also, rematch needed Samsai.
