Delays sadly happen, but Mordor will come eventually, and when it does, it will rock.

The main thing is to stay positive folks, they are still actively working on it. They are pretty quiet to me though, so I don't actually know anything behind the scenes right now.

Quoting: GBeeThe red haired cat in the image is a reference to Jones, the ship's cat in Alien who makes a brief reappearance at the beginning of Aliens as well.

Incidentally they goofed the lyric. It's actually "Terror in a best laid plan", not "is a".
My god, you're right I didn't even notice it was Jones :D, it has to be Alien: Isolation!

The Flock Will Only Be Playable For A Limited Time, Releasing For Linux This Year

Well it's their product, their hard work, and they can do with it as they see fit. They are clearly telling people how it will work, and it will be stated everywhere, even in-game.

I don't see an issue, I think it's an interesting experiment.

Quoting: XylemonI tried to get into this site, but besides the fact news was almost always months delayed, they felt like making it their plug for personal opinions that may or may not be relevant (beyond game review type of stuff). In a way it's sad to see it die, but GamingOnLinux has been far better in my view.
I think I only posted one editorial on linuxgames.com in the past 15 years, and that was too much for this guy!
Google, define "editorial":
a newspaper article expressing the editor's opinion on a topical issue.
Looks fine to me :)

Quoting: LinasI wonder if this is actually some sort of "Developer Edition", and if so, how it differs from the consumer version?
Probably comes with more documentation or something + it's free for them.

Quoting: Brian LinuxI remember going to this site in the old days, sad day indeed. Also the one with guy smoking the pipe? Does anyone remember what the name of that site was? I
That was the Linux Game Tome and it provided a very useful database of games. It's something that should be replicated by someone else. Linux Games can suffer from lack of visibility.

That's why this site is important. I have bought a number of games after reading about them here.
Glad you like our stuff :)

Quoting: XeekeiHonestly, I didn't even know about the site. Though that doesn't mean it wasn't a big deal. I hope Ryan can buy the domain.
Honestly, I hope buying it isn't needed.
