Quoting: EKRboiBUT, The inclusion of a data repo would be a bit odd for a VP port wouldn't it? They normally share the windows data and only have a Linux depot for the eon binary.
That's how it works yes, so I doubt it is a VP port.

Chroma Squad, A Power Rangers Inspired Tactical RPG Releasing For Linux This April
20 Apr 2015 at 6:19 pm UTC

I did read up on the Saban vs Chroma Squad stuff, and it didn't seem as doom and gloom as I thought. While it's pretty stupid as it's obviously a parady, and doesn't use anything from their works directly, i still find it odd the developer claimed there weren't any threats, but Saban even contacting them at all is obviously a threat.

The choice here is to either buy it, play it and enjoy it and support the developers a bit, or to shun it because some rights holder gets a small stake.

I would rather still support the developer for a fun game.

Quoting: zimplex1I love these types of articles... It's very fascinating seeing how developers feel about supporting our OS.
That's the single most important type of article to me on this website, and the first I saw (might have been the first at all) made me come here on a daily basis to take a look at the other articles as well.

Keep it on, Liam!
I will do my best.

Sales Statistics For Linux Games From Different Developers, Part 4

As much as I would love to get stats from AAA titles and bigger titles, they generally don't respond (I've tried). A lot of it is down to publishers not wanting to share the information which is why these articles are always indie focused.

Quoting: EikeI liked to play Call of Duty, at least when I found a public server with people not being to childish and aggressive. Is there any suitable game on Linux for me?
Check out Squad. Just got green-lit on Steam and it will have same-day linux support (uses UE4 engine) and looks like they are approaching it correctly.

Only linux server is confirmed!

Having said that there's some conflicting forum posts on the matter.

As someone that had seen the greenlit on steam I was kinda upset that there was no linux mentioned so never gave it a second glance. After a look in their forums it's looking quite promising. It'll run like garbage on AMD though I bet. Still cant get UT alpha to work on mine :(
Wow, just had to post on that forum, quite shady to state Linux on the greenlight when they won't actually support it.
