Like I've said the past few times, it won't work.

Icculus Is Porting Goat Simulator To Linux
30 Mar 2014 at 4:38 pm UTC

Quoting: AnonymousIs he a good porter? Because apparently he ported Killing Floor to Linux and it runs like shit :/ (note it not just me. Lots of people report same problem)
He's a well known figure in Linux game porting. He may have done the initial port of Killing Floor, but that doesn't mean he has been paid by Tripwire to fix anything since the initial port, so bug Tripwire.

The Open Source Game Corner, Highlighting Open Source Projects Part 2

I agree & disagree because some games do look really good like Xonotic for example and yes 0 A.D. too.

I think freeciv actually looks good, that is the style they want.

Things don't need to be in 3D or look realistic to be good-looking.

Also coders are easy to find, graphics artists aren't.

Quoting: liamdaweWhat is a true RPG? There is no such thing, what one person considers a true RPG another will not.
So a shot em up, a strategy game or even a puzzle game are all RPGs?

An FPS game is very much an RPG yes, you're playing the role of the shooter aren't you? RPG is an extremely broad term and people forget that.

A strategy game, well yeah you're playing the commander role aren't you...

See where I'm going with this :P

When it boils down to it any-game you play as a single character is an RPG, since it stands for Role Playing Game, playing as a character is playing that role, so...yeah.
So in every game you interact with NPCs in a way that these interactions develop your character and affect the in game world?
No, I don't know many games at all where you actually affect the in-game world.

Quoting: ApopasEvery one of these advertisew itslef as an ACTION RPG, true?
Action RPGs are the ones which role playing is from little to not existing at all.
True RPGs are the ones with focus on Roleplaying.
See my post, you are always playing a role. I don't know what you mean by "focus on roleplaying", focus..how?
