I have to say, my only true reason for deleting my Windows partition entirely was because of this website, GamingOnLinux.com and the resources to be found here. It has allowed myself to get rid of the Redmond malware once and for all. And for Aspyr for porting my most played game on Steam through my 9 years on Steam, Civilization V (1500 hours under Windows). My only reason for not buying Civilization: Beyond Earth is due to the exorbitant prices I have been dishing out for ALL of the great titles getting ported to Linux in the last several months and wanted to wait until it was officially released on Linux to get it through Steam and make my purchase count. Really, I could use a key now after buying Linux supported games for myself, niece and brother, and X-mas presents for my loved ones (like my dog, replenishing her Kong ball supply isn't cheap and I don't have a 3D printer yet). Constantly seeing the GamingOnLinux @gamingonlinux posts with new Linux releases in my Twitter feed is like Christmas several times a week. Unfortunately, my bank account feels it too. Borderlands 2, X-Com and Civ, the best reasons for me to get into the Linux era full time. Who needs Windows? Not me, myself, or I. Thanks!

Half Life 3, valve time has only given Valve enough time to work on the Windows version so they had to contract the Mac and Linux versions out.

Grass simulator... They're making that in Colorado I think. The studio may be around Boulder. I saw a bunch of old guys with long hair, red plaid loggers shirts and pocket protectors hanging out at a Starbucks there one morning, it is probably them.
Honestly, if these games don't charge but a buck or three and are well made, it is worth them making it. Once they start going for the $9.99 prices or pay to win in-game upgrades for $3.99 a pop, thats when the ridiculousness of the entire 'simple simulator genre' starts to become a nuisance to the gaming development community as a whole. I think people are starting to be glazed over by the amount of games that are coming out nowadays and it is getting harder and harder to differentiate the good from the bad. It is too bad more small game companies don't put out free demos for their games. They might get more paid business if people like what they're seeing in the demos.
