Quoting: KohlyKohlI like the genre but I don't care for the time only moves when you move gimmick.
@KohlyKohl What genre are you talking about? I ask because all the roguelikes I have played have the "time only moves when you do gimmick".
I wasn't even thinking about the roguelike aspect but rather as a top down shooter.
Ah thanks for explaining. I was really confused.

Space station building sim 'Meeple Station' is now on Steam, with the new publisher Modularity

I rushed to buy it, it looks like my kind of game.

After playing it I think it has a lot of promise. There are a few issues with the game as it stands, but it is early access so I was informed. The game is at least stable. There are some controls and UI issues which can be frustrating. There are also some layering issues (visually) with incoming traders.

Be prepared for the personalities of the meeples to matter. I had a captain that was a jerk and chatty for my first game. He basically talked everyone into depression.

Programming puzzle game God is a Cube: Programming Robot Cubes is now in Early Access, win a copy

I would like to get a copy if I could. Meet Pixel Spooky Cube:

We have a copy of 'Nimbatus - The Space Drone Constructor' to give away to one lucky Linux gamer

I would build a Giant Laser ship that would cut though everything very quickly. It would probably have a huge set of batteries that would weight it down.

Stardew Valley now DRM free for Linux on GOG, we have a bunch of keys to give away!

Cortex Command Looks Like It Will Gain A New Linux Version Soon

Awesome game. I am surprised to see that they are still working on Linux. I don't like the way the devs handled their Linux customers. They kept us out of the loop. I bought this game when it came out for Linux expecting support. I got one buggy release and no news while Windows got release after release for years. I may be a bit butt hurt about it, but I don't see this game being support much on Linux.

Buyer beware!

Why Are We Still Dual Booting?

I felt like this article was a bit hostile to dual booters. I think it's interesting that you mention the Blizzard indecent in this article because there are feint echos of that angry post in this piece. I am not a dual booter and I must say that it has cost me some time and effort. Much of the world outside of gaming demands you be using windows with IE installed. I remember there was one time using a web based application I had to look at the raw HTML to find a link to a document that I "Could only get using IE". I think Linux needs to stand on it's own two legs. Linux dose this by getting users to use it and getting services and people to support it. Not by drawing a line in the sand and saying dual booters on this side, and Linux only on the other.
