Also, that camera constantly looking down is a game breaker. Every time I try to look around,
Having the camera look down would definitely be a game breaker. I'm playing with a Logitech F610 and don't have any issues with the camera.
I guess you could try and experiment with different controller layouts or to play with a different controller if one is available to you.

works well, performance could be better though. One issue with kde desktop, is that when I get a system notification pop up, the game minimizes. So I have my volume control display a pop up whenever I adjust the volume with the keyboard control, and if I adjust the volume the game will minimize. A bit of an inconvenience but not a big deal. It's easy enough to disable desktop effects on the fly with kde.

I have been wanting and waiting for this game for so long.
I suggested knockout games (shadow warrior redux) a while ago when the project was abandoned, so maybe he's porting it.

The game looks interesting, the timing of release is quite unfortunate though (because of shadow of modor).

MegaSphere, A Seriously Good Looking Sci-fi Platformer With A Big Gun

I really dislike the current obsession with pixel art graphics. Back in the 16bit days devs done everything possible to get their games to look a generation ahead of their time, and they did this by adding colors and special effects wherever possible. Now you have hardware capable of rendering toy story in real time and we get bland looking platformers that would make the Sega Master system blush with embarrassment.
With all that said, this game's art actually looks great, it looks like a proper 16 bit generation game where the developer's are pushing that little 16bit chip to the max.

That's a shame. The game looks pretty good, and I was looking forward to playing it.
Hopefully Grid comes soon, and Formula Fusion - which is running on UE4 - also comes to the Linux platform.

Quoting: metcardthey should let knockoutgames do the ports. shadow warrior is quite possibly the best windows to Linux port I've played, and the support on the steam forums by kog are second to none.
I have never heard of KnockoutGames before, but I am thrilled to hear that they are doing native ports, and really good ones at that. Is KnockoutGames a single guy like icculus or is it a team like Feral or Aspyr?
It's just one guy apparently.

He done an excellent job with Shadow Warrior.
