I can't believe how many saw a pearl. First thing that came to my mind was pinball with the hope of it being Pinball Arcade but then I came to my senses. Farsight hates Linux and will probably never allow the release Pinball Arcade on Linux.

It frustrates me when indie devs release a small niche title and then complain about low sales on Linux. Companies like Farsight Studios seem to be paying attention to those comments because they use the excuse of low sales for other dev titles as their reason for not bringing The Pinball Arcade to Linux.

With so many different marketshare reporting sites, who should we believe? They all seem to have different numbers ranging from less than 1% up to over 5%. So who is accurate and who is not?

That is sad news for it will mean once again possible Linux sales being counted as Windows sales because of any Linux gamer who can not wait until the Linux port is released.

Different launch dates for operating systems also gives companies like Farsight Studios false impression that Linux sales is too small for them to support our beloved operating system.

I tried it back in mid January. At that time I was getting a lot of weird graphic glitches in every map. Going to wait for a bit before trying again.

If someone can not even install Ubuntu, that's sad, especially someone who claims to be an expert. It is always interesting to see rants from people who claim Linux is terrible but do not offer details as to why, or offering examples of the problems they are having so the community can guide them to what they might be doing wrong.
