Quoting: liamdaweYeah, I've added Shadowrun since I guess it has hit the goal for Linux, but I don't count games already playable in beta as "coming".
I don't think Linux was a stretch goal for Shadowrun. It was listed right from the start.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong will have a Linux version and is supposed to release in mid-2015.
Also, Chivalry, depending on whether you count the beta as already on Linux.
Nice to see lots of good games coming.

Dying Light Major Patch Released, Still Abysmal On Linux

I'd been considering buying this game, but maybe I should wait.
Does anyone know what kind of performance I can expect with a GTX 770 4GB, a 4790k at 4.6GHz + 16GB RAM?

Only tangentially related, but does anyone know how GOG determines Linux sales? Do they just go by which version was downloaded? Have they ever published any statistics?

At least they confirm it's still coming. Unlike The Witcher 3 where CDPR just ignores all questions about a Linux version.

The Witcher 2 Has A New Beta For Linux, The Improvements Are Staggering

Quoting: ricki42Just did a quick try of the new beta, and it was almost unplayable (on i7-4790k at 4.6 GHz and GTX770 4GB). The framerate was good, the stuttering is just really bad.
Try enabling gl threaded optimizations as discussed previously in this thread. Seems to solve the problem for me.
That definitely helped, the mouse input is fine now. Turning v-sync on also helped, it's still stuttering a bit, but not so bad.

Just did a quick try of the new beta, and it was almost unplayable (on i7-4790k at 4.6 GHz and GTX770 4GB). The framerate was good, the stuttering is just really bad. Also, there's considerable lag between mouse input and the camera turning. I played the game during the last beta, some time in August last year, and it ran fairly well, a bit of stutter but not too bad, framerates mostly between 50 and 90 fps. I'll try again tonight, maybe start a new game.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare To Begin Linux Port Testing

Quoting: marcelomendesI would ask the same. If we buy and install only the beta/test-build, will it count as Linux or Windows sale?
I think steam registers which platform you play the game on most, as the one that counts.
But does it properly register a platform that is not officially supported? I know there are rumors of Linux sales showing up for games that don't have Linux versions simply because someone bought the game on Linux, but I couldn't find anything to actually confirm those rumors.

Great news! I held off on buying the game during the sale because I want it to count as a Linux sale. It's still marked as Windows-only on steam, so if I buy it now and only play it on Linux, will that count?
