I'm getting occasional dips, stutters and lockups in Borderlands 2. I tried it on Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 15.04 and elementary OS Freya still the same result. The Nvidia optimization made it much smoother but the dips and stutters are still there and even with the lowest of settings.
Windows doesn't have these issues but fps drops when there is a lot going on.
I don't know if it's the port , the driver or just something that is not working right yet on Linux.
I hope it'll improve by just patches or drivers.
My system is:
Intel 4670K (stock)
Asus Maximus VI Impact
Asus GTX 660Ti (factory OC)
2x4GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer.
Seasonic G550
What about you guys? Do you had/have a flawless experience?
Thank you

Tell Blizzard You Want Linux Support In Their Games

Quoting: keikiIn the end all we can do is try to get attention and only buy games supporting Linux.Yeah I agree that what happens on November would have a significant impact for the continuity of triple AAA games.
But I know how hard the last part is. I myself recently bought Game of thrones telltale game for Windows. Because it's a game I really want to play. Then I played it on my company laptop having Windows on it.
I'm really nervous about November when the first Steam boxes hit the market. This may decide if we continue to receive AAA Linux native games.
