I have some old Linux games that are 32 bits only, but it doesn't matter, I will use the Windows port with Wine. I already start this method with some games that run better with Wine than the Linux port today, Heretic II for example.

The latest Steam Client update is quite a big one pulling in lots from previous beta versions

Don't forget WASD is not a confortable mapping for all gamers, like french with AZERTY keyboard. Arrow key are international.

Very nice open source port, similar in quality to Corsixth (Theme Hospital port).
You can use the RCT1 scenarios too.

Why I have to use the "-no-dwrite" to see menu/text in Steam and not with the wine-staging? Someone knows if dwrite is disable in wine-staging?

Really? Last time I tried the characters were invisible which makes it completely unplayable. Glancing at winehq-appdb it seems this issue is still present.
