Very nice open source port, similar in quality to Corsixth (Theme Hospital port).
You can use the RCT1 scenarios too.

Why I have to use the "-no-dwrite" to see menu/text in Steam and not with the wine-staging? Someone knows if dwrite is disable in wine-staging?

Really? Last time I tried the characters were invisible which makes it completely unplayable. Glancing at winehq-appdb it seems this issue is still present.

Deutsh version is also available on Gog and ScummVM team plan to add french version.

You don't need to wait Gog release the Linux version to buy the game: you can download ScummVM v 2.0 here:

did you try to play LA NOIRE with Wine? I have the Steam version and it's impossible to play this game for me.

The primary advantages to use CorsixTH:
- they corrected numerous bugs from original game
- you can natively launch the game and it benefits modern computer power and configuration

Even 20 years later I have very much fun to play this game, it's rare.
