The best way for me to manage Wine versions and my Windows games/apps on Linux is PlayOnLinux.
Each new version of Wine is available on less that 48h and you could associate a different Wine version for each app.

Wine 1.8-rc2 released, brings more stability

This version should should resolve the crash with Tomb Raider 2013 at start (regression since Wine version 1.7.50):

I don't know how it is possible: twitch will support HTML5 for video only in 2016 [External Link].
For the moment only the video controls are in HTML5.
Meanwhile I installed Chrome to watch livestream.

Valve Looks Like It's Removed The SteamOS Icon For Games That Work On Linux, But Not Perfectly On SteamOS

To my point of view, it's a good thing if Valve removes SteamOS icon from games that have trouble to play on Linux/SteamOS. I have Lume in my librairie and when I launch it on Ubuntu, the sound is noisy. Imagine a new Linux/SteamOS customer that pay for a game with troubles?

Hyperspace Pinball Released For Linux, It's Quite Cool

On Linux I play Pinball FX 2 and Future Pinball with wine, two of the best pinball simulator for me. It's a pity we don't have a Linux port of this two apps on Linux.
