The UNIGINE engine will get Vulkan support this year

More important than the benchmark getting Vulkan is the engine itself getting Vulkan support. Granted, Unigine-powered games are kinda rare, but it will still be nice to have that option in there.

Feral Interactive have released a new teaser for a Linux & Mac port to come

If it winds up being Total War: Shogun 2, that's not my jam, but that's cool. If it winds up being Shadow Warrior 2, I'll be happy. If it winds up being NieR: Automata, I will need to change my tidy whities. Imagine getting a AAA Japanese game, and not just any AAA Japanese game, a Platinum game, on Linux? That would be MONUMENTAL.

Quoting: Geppeto35About Serious sam, why steam doesn't mention it works for linux? Does it ?
As mentioned in other posts, they give you access to Fusion. Fusion is the only engine that supports Linux for the First and Second Encounter games.
Will it count as a Linux sale?
People need to not put so much thought into that, people get bogged down with it. This doesn't matter unless it's an external port, which Serious Sam is not.
Well, I'd say that it's about more than where the money goes. To me, it's also about showing that the Linux audience is indeed there.
Of course, which is always shown on Steam statistics, this only ever matter for external porters getting paid.

I know for a fact developers can see Linux sales even without a Linux version. I've been told this by several developers now.
Thanks, that's a burden off my mind.

F1 2016 won't be coming to Linux, as sales of F1 2015 weren't strong enough

That's too bad. All the reviews point to F1 2016 being much better than F1 2015.

Started playing the game and it's already great. Ron Gilbert's humor just never gets old.
