Cloud gaming isn't going to succeed until the infrastructure is in place and the latency issue solved. This doesn't seem to deter companies from continuing to try and fail.

I'm not keen on the look of this. The characters look like characters from the mountain of sex games that are on Steam. Well, I'm assuming they're sex games, there's always a lot of cleavage so I make that leap in logic. All those games have characters that look very similar where everything is kind of a bit too smooth and everyone sort of looks like they're made out of latex. I wonder if they're all made in the same modeling program or it's a preset or something that makes them all look the same.

The important thing will be the writing, that was Betrayal at Krondor's biggest strength and what set it apart from its peers. In a RPG landscape littered with "find the sacred sword to stop the great evil" stories BaK threw you into a spider's web of political intrigue with a murder mystery, deception, and back stabbing.

Quoting: redneckdrowNot to whine, but no puns? That's unbarrelable! :tongue:No need for sour grapes, Liam can't come up with a vintage pun every time.
Yes, I probably deserve a cask-et for that one. Feel free to tell me to cork it!

Quoting: ProtektorThis is exactly why you don't pre-order a game that promises Linux support. There is no guarantee that it will ever be released and you end up paying for something you can't use.I just don't pre-order digital goods at all. For something physical, like a collector's edition that has very limited quantities, pre-ordering makes sense, but for digital goods it makes no sense. Pre-ordering is taking an unnecessary risk.

"Altered Orbit Studios say having a "proper AI" was a big goal, with enemies fully aware of each other and work together to try and take you down. They won't sit still, they will find cover and try to break you out of cover if you sit for too long."
I'll believe it when I see it. Good AI is one of the most difficult things to properly implement. I hope they pull it off. Video looks awesome BTW.

I dumped Fedora for Manjaro because of the Anaconda installer. I don't know what it is but that installer hates me and the feeling is mutual, quite frankly.

I wish the tool did more than just solid colors. I'm a big fan of woodgrain, I would do a dark woodgrain skin.

I've been #TeamTrackball for decades, once I got past the initial weirdness of the change, which lasted roughly 1 day, I found them way more comfortable to use. To be specific, I prefer trackballs where you move the ball with your index, middle, and/or ring finger, rather than your thumb.

Quoting: The_AquabatWhen they will release a new biome? it would be cool if this year we have a new biome and new weapons like flametal ore or something.I would be shocked if we got a new biome this year, that takes a ton of work and Coffee Stain have admitted in the past that Valheim's staggering success had overwhelmed them.
