This is not an MMO.
It was a joke, a dig at the game's generic quests and grindy gameplay.

No, I asked the developer some days ago if they'll release the game for Linux and they told me that's it's not planned but they are discussing it with their publisher.
Focus Home Interactive have released a number of Linux games lately, so it's definitely not out of the question. But, again, I would expect Technomancer to be an in-house port, if it happens, especially if it uses the same engine as Bound by Flame, which I think it does.

Quoting: liamdaweNot at all, I have great respect for his work despite my comments now and then (Read Phoronix for years), but PTS could use some quality of life updates to make it simpler to use. A UI wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Yeah, I'm just having a spot of tongue in cheek fun.

On topic: I suspect we won't be seeing gains immediately, as with Talos, as it's probably either just a wrapper or a very basic/barebones implementation right now.

Quoting: KeyrockThat's a picture of Mars. DooM seems too obvious, also, it's a Bethesda game. Hmm...

Edit: 808... The only thing I can think of is the Roland TR-808, a famous drum machine from the 80s. What games have a character named Roland?
Roland is a a character in the Borderlands series
Borderlands takes place on a desert planet named Pandora

Borderlands 1?

It seems possible because Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel are avalable on Linux and Mac but Aspyr handled the ports for those two.
I'd love it to be Tales from the Borderlands as I love the Borderlands setting but hate the Borderlands gameplay. Also, I've heard good things about Tales from the Borderlands. A lot of people have said it's Telltale's best series.

I tried to use the famous Phoronix Test Suite to benchmark it, but I find that software to be rather cumbersome and annoying to use. I can't seem to get the Dota 2 benchmark to even run. I edited the script to actually point to my Dota 2 install (the PTS test relies on the default install location) but it doesn't find Steam). See my forum post on Phoronix here about it, maybe someone can shed some light as I've never really used PTS before. If I can get it to work, I will do some proper tests.
The GoL/Phoronix Blood Feud continues... :D

Is there a game about cowboys battling dinosaurs in space?
If not, there damn well should be. :D

Combined with the TR-808 drum machine. I think we are onto something.

EDIT: because: Techno music.
Good call. On the other hand, when Bound by Flame got ported to Linux, I believe it was an in-house port, which leads me to believe that if Technomancer comes to Linux Spiders would do it themselves.
