For those who don't want to spend that much money I recommend to check out the Speedlink DRIFT O.Z. Racing Wheel.
It's around 60 bucks and it also works out of the box on linux. I use it as well for ETS 2 and I successfully tested it in other racing games like DiRT Showdown and Grid Autosport.
But for this price you have to lower your sights.
It only has a few cupping vessels to fix it at the desk.
I bought some bar clamps from the building center and padded them with some adhesive sleaze to fix the steering wheel in addition to my desk. Now this works surprisingly well.

I played the Demo a few days ago on my Windows notebook that I usually work with at my company.
I was really impressed by the atmosphere/immersion of the game.
Even if the puuzles are hard to solve (I made it only to the second room until now) I would buy it immediately if it comes to Linux.

Finally we have 64bit support! Better late than never. I hope they will update the linux build more often in future and please: Treat it no longer as experimental, Bohemia :-)
Playing though XCOM 2 Shen's Last Gift gave me high hopes for War of the Chosen

I really liked the DLC too so far.
Better performance, it does dip down really low too often for my likingIn deed that's all I wish too for the future. Besides that this game is one of my all time favourites.
Looks like Dying Light is set to get more free DLC

For example movies have an educational purpose the same way as a game could have.
The Nazi Symols in movies aren't censored in germany.
But in general they're unconstitutionally and chargeble. So why is that?
Movies that handle the german history serve the art and games aren't subordinated to art yet officially.
Furthermore games are interactive and movies not! Sounds stupid right?
That's the official justification in germany.

Quoting: LakortaAnd this is what I never understood.Quoting: GuppyThey/We do. Germans are taught about Nazi Germany in school. It's just that Nazi symbols are forbidden unless they're for educational purpose.Quoting: razing32I'm not saying blame Germans today for what happened then, I'm saying censoring media because they contain bits of history your not proud of is a dangerous and slippery slope. Instead own up to it, tech that it's bad and *why* it's bad.Quoting: GuppySorry but have to disagree.Quoting: razing322) Germany ? The heck is happening ? I thought only games with Nazi imagery got banned (for obvious reasons)The obvious reason being a pathetic attempt at hiding their shameful history from public view. Remember nazi in game are always the villans so there is no chance of the game glorifying it :P
I met germans and I think they apologize too much.
What the Nazis did was a horrible atrocity , but I don;t think Germany today is Germany then.
How many horrible things were done in Europe , Africa , Asia since then yet Germany is held up as the example for human wrong doing. Doesn't seem fair in my mind.

So I guess it's worth to look there too since it's legal.

Quoting: PixelPiYou wrote Dying Light is for discount on Steam. But can't buy Dying Light in Germany directly on steam.I'm also from Germany and bought my Steam Key for DL in Austria when it was released.
I would buy it. But while I'm not a big fan of zombie games only for discount.
This seems to be the only legal possibility for German players:

What is the normal price on steam? Sorry, can't see it.

I use the Speedlink Drift OZ racing wheel which costs around 50 € (~60 $). It works pretty well out of the box with Solus except force feedback. So I guess it should work with other distros as well. I should mention that I play racing games only every now and then so I don't need a professional wheel and I can get over it that ff doesn't work.
What game are you truly thankful to have on Linux & SteamOS?

For me it's Arma 3. Even if the Linux support is lacking.
For those still interested, it looks like Homefront: The Revolution for Linux is still being worked on

I finished this game on Windows a few weeks ago.
Even if it's not the best FPS ever made, it's still enjoyable and worth to play it.
