Yes you can parallel import and have been able to do so for a long time but you pay a premium and get no support or warranty. I want to buy it from Steam.

No mention of NZ in the announcement, I don't know if I should be celebrating or crying.

Whoever crafted the announcement couldn't have done a better job of trolling NZ if they had tried. We have been in the same boat as Australia for all this time, invariably mentioned together when the topic comes up and yet in this announcement not mentioned at all.

Intentional or just the business as usual omission [External Link]?

If anyone can clarify the status of Steam Deck launching in NZ please let us know so we can start crying or cheering.

When I was I kid I had a Atari 2600 but friends of ours had the Intellivision. We switched consoles for a while. I have fond memories of playing Auto Racing, Armor Battle and Astrosmash. The controllers were terrible though, I remember getting very sore thumbs.
