EVERSPACE, the amazing looking space shooter should be on Linux before the end of September

Hmm. I guess I've got to find a way to get my old SideWinder 3D Pro back into business soon.

Quoting: TheGZeusthose were designed to be multiplayer to begin with.
The game engines were, but the main campaign of NWN2 for example doesn't behave like they had multiplayer in mind at any time. Even IWD feels weird sometimes, especially when talking to NPCs with any other character than the one who's leading the party.

Quoting: maodzedunHonestly, I'm pretty sure it's probably Valve's fault, so I don't know what all the hate for CDPR is. Valve announced The Witcher III was being ported for Linux, not CDPR. My guess is Valve blew the lid off something that was never definitive and then CDPR had to take all the blame. I mean, they never announced it on GoG, did they?

Well, that's rather disappointing. I'll probably buy it when it's on sale for $5 if Wine supports it – maybe earlier, when they finally got their job port done. I don't care anymore for miscommunication and lame excuses. Unfortunately I do care for TW's storyline, so it's still quite a dilemma for me.

I'm afraid I don't have any $$$ for you at this point in time.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleNone of these are unanswered questions, but they are answered in games that are specifically designed to accommodate multiplayer. Morrowind is not one of these. It would need specific multiplayer content created for it.
BioWare has answered the same questions for NWN/IE-Games without specific multiplayer content. Co-op feels a bit weird sometimes but it works great and was fun.

The Witcher 3 was apparently never planned for Linux

I don't want to be rude but ... this sucks! -_-

What have you been playing recently and how is it?

I've been a bit nostalgic. My gf and I moved away from NWN2, some severe bugs made progressing (even with "debug" commands) impossible. We headed over to IWD:EE which runs flawlessly. PoE is also on our list :)

Project Cars official twitter confirms to me there are no plans for it on Linux now

It's sad to see another promise being broken. But as Yasser already mentioned, we still have Codemasters backing us up with some decent racing games.

Random Access Murder is quite possibly the most annoying game ever made

Quoting: BeamboomSo a LOT of filtering were done before it came to your decision to purchase or not.
I wonder how Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were able to pass the filtering :D *scnr*
