Very nice. I could only play 5-10 minutes before the next crash with my RX590. Othwerwise i ran very smooth
and good looking on ultra settings. So i will just wait a bit until this fix hits Fedora and continue my playthrough then.

It does not need a working ipv6 connection, but it has to be there in order for ipv4 to work.

Quoting: GuestUnless the download can't start because of the infamous "content server unreachable" error - like for me. It was a bug for many in the beta and they didn't fix it.This has to do with the new ipv6 support. Check if you have the ipv6 kernel module and its enabled.

Quoting: FaattoriI just ran a couple benchmarks with Ubuntu 16.04 and 390.48 driver which I assume you meant.Thats great. Then i will try to run it without the beta driver too.
No crashes there and performance seemed in line.

Hmm.. i would rather not switch to the nvidia beta driver. Also because its not in Arch directly. But i guess i have to tomorrow.
Luckily there is a AUR package.

Quoting: NeverthelessBy using Polkit. I think it also logs something about executing pkexec. Start the daemon and follow the logs with 'journalctl -f --user-unit gamemoded'.Quoting: OlliCAnd how does it apply CPU governor changes?Quoting: NeverthelessEdit: I guess I will be using Ferals programm sooner or later anyway. I just don't like running root daemons without even having the time to read the source code.. or better, having some security experts reading the sourcecode. Don't get me wrong, I do trust Feral, but a daemon is in a delicate position, and even small flaws can be exploited.
It's not a root daemon. It runs as a normal user using systemds usermode and polkit.
