Quoting: EhvisWith the Vulkan renderer, performance was almost instantly at DX11 levels. So very good for Linux users. Unfortunately, it's also very unstable for me (hard lock ups). From what I've seen on the beta threads, this instability is specific to the GTX970. Any others here have the same experience?I had one lockup while running the benchmark with my GTX 660 (driver 375.10). Never occured again.
What are you playing this weekend?

Quoting: edowho uses 32 bits on linux anyway?I think their problem is that the Insurgency client is 32bit and the CoherentUI is only available in 64bit for Linux. At least thats how i understand it. They could make the client 64bit like they did with CSGO or wait for Coherent to compile their stuff in 32bit.
What have you been playing on Linux recently and what do you think about it?

Just now i finished the Talos Principle with Vulkan :D
I climped the tower. Nice ending.
Started it a few weeks ago with OpenGL and switch to Vulkan as soon as the nvidia driver got into Arch linux.

Quoting: GuestUsing 361.42 driver but I'm pretty sure they pushed Vulkan support into this stable version of the driver...I think vulkan support starts with 364. Write "vulkaninfo" in terminal to check your vulkan capabilities.
