This made me look into whether or not my Thinkpad P52's fingerprint reader is supported yet... nope. Sounds like some progress was made with the python validity library being used though...

Fingerprint reader support is still very hit and miss on Linux in general. I remember long ago, Gnome had it within the UI... now I'm not sure if it's supposed to only show up if fprintd finds a supported chip or what the deal is though. Wonder if I still have my USB one I bought many moons ago....

I am so used to my thinkpad, I now think trackpoints are the superior device. So it would be hard for me to go to a laptop without one... but then if we are talking about a gaming laptop... I would still prefer to have an external keyboard and mouse.

Is that the little joystick like thing in the middle of the keyboard? My thinkpad had one back in 2004. It wasn't bad at all. Didn't know they still did things like that.

That's the thing, it's had various slang names for it over the years... but yes, it's a little red nub you rub to get things done. Certain models still have it. Also another reason Thinkpads are epic, is that they have three mouse buttons on them, which is fantastic for *nix as they all tend to correctly use the middle mouse button!

Shattered is by the best (and hardest) adaptation for PixelDungeons but it went a bit off the track with all the Elixers so much so that they is soo much stuff you craft, you don't stand a chance to remember so you end up not doing it and in doing that you weaken yourself as you progress.

Over time they have removed some of the cheezy tactics and right now each boss is very unique and hard in their own way.

At the moment I am lucky if I get to the final boss maybe once in 10-20 games

There are bosses in this game? I can barely live long enough to make it down a few levels...

Yup, and some were already available on Steam for Linux, weren't they? Is this Interplay or Valve? Doesn't seem like it would be hard for Valve to just add DOSbox native to the games that alreafy wrap it in.

Hmm, this looks playable with a Steam Controller. I've been trying to find more I can just sit back and play on the Couch! Now that I got a 77" Oled TV :P Feel like I have to justify the price of that...
