Ha, yeah she was one of the most famous developers. Al Lowe doesn't get as much respect, but his games were fantastic as well.

By the way, I believe they will give you a Steam key if you log into their site and you already own the game. At least they did for me.

Looks like the Smach Z handheld gaming unit is getting an upgrade

This is something I would love to have, but that price is nuts. For 1200 bucks, I should be able to strap it to my Index and play games with a small pack. But something tells me it would not have the power.

Quoting: slaapliedjeNeeds moar buttons!! If you can afford it, go for the Logitech (or Saitek, but avoid Mad Catz brand) x52 (or thr Pro version). It is the model for the controller in game. The thrust portion for some reason looks like the Thrustmaster, but the flight stick is almost exactly like the x52. Plus Linux has tools for it if you feel like messing with the MFD. But it otherwise works out of the box.

It's also already packaged in Debian.

Quoting: crt0megaIs that a bottle of rum you're cuddling with? xD
Wine ;)
And I finally get it now.
Wondered why a parent would cuddle up with liquor, but I get the implicit pun now :P
On the note of alcohol, I was trying to figure out why it is occasionally that my blood sugars are at the correct level, other times they're too high (and eating salads and such, I'm diabetic). But then I found after drinking a margarita that it is at a proper level. So I started trying to control it with a bit of drink here and there, and now I've come to the conclusion that it's Tequila!

So I think I need more :P

Quoting: denyasisYepper - I just got it to work. I think my issue was I had forgotten to set the PATH while installing dotnet40. I didn't try 472 or dxvk, but it works (and after 2 hours messing with it, I'm not inclined to break it just yet).

For some reason, it doesn't seem to notice my old Logitech Joystick (3d Extreme). lsusb correctly ID's it, but the game doesn't. Running Steam in Big Picture Mode, makes steam think its a controller, not a stick, lol.

I'll give it one more shot and then I'll try tomorrow. Too bad I have mandatory OT this weekend (wooo)

I'd guess it's missing libwayland-dev.

But yeah, why wayland? That's odd...

Quoting: sethrewhaPerhaps I'm too new but I'm on Mint and when I get to "cmake" I get an error in terminal (-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!). Anyone have this experience?
What's your output? Use code blocks so it's easier to read.

From there we should be able to know if you're missing a dependency for it to compile.

Wasn't No Man's Sky one of those that at some point in time was supposed to get a native version?

So I was reading a post in r/Vive and they mention installing the newer version of Vulkan to increase performance. Granted that is for Windows, but wonder if it applies to Linux.

Then again I am now getting fantastic performance, just not in VR where it crashes on Linux still.
