Pretty sure by 2077 we'll all just be batteries for the AI... unless we already are...

Quoting: ShmerlYou never know... they may release it in 2077 when Cyberpunk is real and it's a Golden Oldie Retro. Might even release on a Micro-Mini-SSD card? :PQuoting: Whitewolfe80Well witcher 3 was never officially cancelled CD and Valve just stopped talking about itValve never talked about it. They just posted two ads, clearly sanctioned by CDPR. And while it was never officially cancelled, it was de-facto cancelled.

Blizzard fans are oddly almost as bad as Apple ones. Besides, of course they support it 5 years after release. Overwatch I think was their first original IP in... what 20 years? They pretty much have Diablo, StarCraft and WarCraft and now Overwatch.
Now all they need to do is create System of StarCraft and they'll be set for the next decade of money making joy. I actually worked with a guy who had spent more than 10k USD on World of WarCraft...
Personally one of my favorite action RPGs is Sacred (the first one, for some reason the second one is just not balanced very well so ends up being rather boring, even if it is beautiful. You only very rarely get that 'oh god, I almost died!' feeling that is all over the place in Diablo 1 and 2 and Sacred.)
To be fair, I did play Diablo 3 in Wine for a short time, but it didn't even draw me back in long enough to get to level 10 that the free version provides.

Quoting: Mountain ManIt's Blizzard. I think that pretty much explains it.Quoting: KuduzkehpanThat really doesn't explain Diablo 3's continued success and profitability.Quoting: Mountain ManBecause of good marketing. But biggest part of userbase existed because of in game auction house and paypal colloboration. My friends earned over 2k euro from loot selling. However still Diablo 3 worst than diablo 2.Quoting: KuduzkehpanDiablo 3 is action rpg with looting frenzy mechanics. Modable skills. And a good company. BlizzardAnd many more stayed. It is, in fact, one of Blizzard's most successful games to date. There's a reason they're still actively developing it and releasing paid content 5-years after release.
Still many diablo fan players left it.

I've had this game for quite some time, it was a bit buggy last time I played it, and it seemed I couldn't get any further so waited for the final release, nice!

I posted in the steam thread as well, though it is pretty well flooded with specs. I wonder if I could be of special help, since I have controllers... lots and lots of controllers. I could even test if an Atari Jaguar controller would work...

Quoting: liamdaweI think people continue posting their specs here to brag. :PQuoting: liamdaweKeep in mind guys you need to post in their linked Steam forum post, not here ;)

Seems to me they did that very thing for the first one. One would think they would have gotten better for the initial release of this.

You should give Ishar a try. While on the one hand it is party based... I suppose you don't have to have other characters with you. In fact you hire other characters as you want them, Some characters don't like each other, so if they're wounded in battle and you ask one of them to heal another one, he may refuse.
Granted the game is extremely hard, in fact to save the game it charges you gold...

To be fair, the original was very much like Alternate Reality, Bard's Tale, Ishar, etc. So first person while you're walking around, but then instead of the others, it breaks out to a turn based combat, more like Ultima 6 that is isometric.

Quoting: BeamboomGameplay video here:Ha, that does look kind of terrible. Funny thing is, I swear the tavern noise sounds exactly the same as it does in Ishar.
