Rise of the Tomb Raider tested on AMD RX 580

Quoting: ShmerlAre you comparing the right thing though? I.e. are you sure it's using D3D12 → Vulkan translation? Because if it's using D3D11 one, you should have compared same one on Windows.

Can you analyze the binary, is it using D3D11 or D3D12 there?

DX12 sucks.
There's not that much difference with DX11.

Quoting: evergreendoas someone have a simply guide or an installer for dxvk? i’m to stupid for that..

Download DXKV on Github, extract and then :

WINEPREFIX=/path_of_your_wine_prefix bash "/path_of_your_dxkv_dir/dxvk-0.42/x64/setup_dxvk.sh"

It works with wine 3.5 and above w/o doing anything else.

QuoteIs anyone keeping a list of what titles DXVK enables to be used, similar to what WineHQ does for Wine?

I'm trying all my DX11 games yet.
Skyrim SE, Batman: Arkham City, Arkham Origins, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Witcher 3 are playable with some graphic issues.
Quantum Break's unplayable.
Can't launch Far Cry 3 due to the need of Steam AND Uplay.

Yes, yes, and YES.
I will definitively grab a copy.
Life is strange is my (all times) favorite adventure's game. I guess I will enjoy this prequel too.
Thanks Feral !

QuoteI'm really looking forward to the day I can switch over to an AMD GPU and take more advantage of the incredible and rather fast-paced work that goes into them now.

I've dropped my GTX970 for a RX570. I've got improved performances in some games with less powerful GPU.
I bet all my games will run better in a few months.

You're doing a great job, thanks.

Any particular reason why you want one ?

Don't you like medal ? :D

I think seeing more badges boost people motivation for pledging (it worked on me).
