OBS Studio 26.1 in testing with a Release Candidate out now, adds Virtual Camera on Linux

I've been using OBS as a virtual camera for the billion Zooms I've had to do since "the event" (much to the amusement of my co-workers). Getting the OBS plugin v4l2sink to work was a pain, and then an update to v4l2loopback broke the ability for the virtual camera to identify itself to Zoom (and practically everything else), which required rolling back to a previous release of the driver and locking it. If this all gets integrated and works seamlessly, this feature alone is worth the update. Glad to hear it.

I've been getting (sucked) back into Stardew Valley again, as well as Sunless Skies. Had a couple of issues with Sunless Skies, but they were easy fixes. Really liking it!

This is interesting because I've suspected a <recent> loss of FPS in Borderlands 2, a game I play regularly. I'll have to check what nvidia driver I'm using at the moment on my 970.

At the time of this post, they have not yet updated their Ubuntu PPA (it's still on 16.2.1). Hopefully that'll be coming soon.
