Quoting: PenglingSpelunky [External Link] (Proton) is in this Fest for £2.74. If you don't already have it, now's a really good time to pick it up for peanuts! (Honestly, this game is so endlessly replayable, I've never fully understood why it got a sequel...)
Does it have bombs or something? 🤔

NVIDIA switching to open kernel modules by default in future driver update for Turing+

The only logical explanation for this is that an army of Penguins boarded a warship to take to the mainland.
They successfully infiltrated Nvidia headquarters and are holding herrings to everyone’s throats.

Men of War II will launch with three playable nations - the Soviets, Americans and the Third Reich
Is the American faction unable to do anything till halfway through the match?
No, they just have to wait until they know which side is going to win until they join 😂

Quoting: chuzzle44Weird, I'm getting sever performance drops depending on the direction I'm looking. No settings seem to have any effect.
This is just the game telling you not to look in that bad direction that probably has nasty monsters you don't want to see anyway.
I mean… if you can’t see them, they can’t see you right? Right?!? 😬

I’ve always wondered if some of them wouldn’t mind releasing source code for some old outdated software and then they look at the code… 😬 and see how much duct tape, popsicle sticks and bubble gum held it together and thought it would be a bad image 😂

They are being vague so as not to release information on the game they’re working on.

Obviously the security improvements is that Barney Calhoun now has an HEV suit and gravity gun.

Quoting: WoodlandorWayland graphics flickering under Nvidia drivers seems to be fixed with the final release.

Still testing, but they haven’t shown up where I’ve experienced them in the past.

Edit:
Not with Steam set to GPU acceleration, apparently.
Crazy epileptic-warning flickering is indeed lessened greatly.
But it’s been replaced by frame dropping and hitching during any video playback.

Doesn’t present itself in most games.

Waiting on Nvidia to fix this.

Quoting: pleasereadthemanualSolidworks does work in Wine? That's surprising.

I've never used it, but isn't that a popular industry-standard CAD program?
No, it’s only used for making Solid Snakes
