Brawl of Ages, an online 1v1 strategy game from the creators of Strife, it's free too

Quoting: KohlyKohlI'm a little weary of S2 and how they handled Strife. Can they handle the match making this time around? So far the match making has been great and I hope they can keep this up.
Absolutely! S2 makes some good games, but they really need to work harder at supporting and promoting them! Personally, I think it would be awesome to see S2 open source their older games (like Savage and Heroes of Newerth) so the community itself could support the games.

This is HUGE for me! RPG Maker was one of the handful of programs that I have been eagerly awaiting on Linux! Out of curiosity, will we see a review of this one?

Looks like hit adventure game 'Owlboy' really is coming to Linux, ported by Ethan Lee

I'm not sure I buy the idea that having games in the MMO and Sports genres would somehow make Linux like Windows. It would be akin to saying that having an office suite makes Linux more Windows-like.
Thankfully, the Linux community is growing, and becoming more diverse as it does! Believe me, there are Linux users that would love to see those genres represented on our OS of choice!

This looks amazing! It's great that Linux has so many fantastic platformers!
(Cave Story, Frogatto, Shovel Knight, Rogue Legacy, Freedom Planet, Axiom Verge, Volgarr the Viking, and more!!!)
Now all we need is a decent MMO and some sports titles (damn EA and its sports monopoly!). Then we'd be good!

After basically NO news from Valve concerning Steam, it's good to hear that they are still looking to the future with Linux in mind.

Feral Interactive are requesting that Canonical get Mesa updates into an official PPA

Really the Mesa drivers work better for me than the proprietary ones. (Especially with APUs!)
Would LOVE to see Mesa kept up-to-date on Ubuntu-based OSes! I'm currently using Solus, but I know many people's entrance into Linux is through Ubuntu. Would be great to see that work well.
On a side note, it would also be nice to see Steam update its runtime. It has been pretty janky lately.

Tyranny, the massive new RPG from Obsidian Entertainment releases today day-1 on Linux, our review

I don't really agree with the notion that there are so very few bad guy games. Granted, a lot of games lean more toward anti-hero, but there has been no shortage of evil games.
Hate, GTA, WoW, Fable, many Star Wars games, and others allow players to be bad guys.
It's fun to play good guys and bad guys. This particular game looks terrific, and I'm looking forward to trying it out!

I've seen a lot of comparisons drawn between PoE and this game, which is exciting to me. I really like PoE, but it is not a Linux game. True, it runs okay on WINE, but I'd rather support games that acknowledge and support Linux. If this is exactly like PoE on Linux, I'll buy it.

Yooka-Laylee has another trailer, featuring Shovel Knight

I'm so excited for this game! Banjo Kazooie is my favorite N64 game, and this game beautifully captures the overall feeling of that game! In fact, it's so similar I'm shocked they aren't getting smacked by Rare for copyright infringement. I'm glad they haven't, though, because this is an epic-looking game!
