Have never played any Devil May Cry type of game but with Linux support this looks to be right up my alley.

So what's actually the "correct" way to install the latest NVIDIA driver with that blasted .run file? It was *so* much easier to install a newer NVIDIA driver in Arch since you just install it right from the repos. Not entirely sure what I did wrong, but I just tried to upgrade from 352.63 to the latest stable here on my Ubuntu laptop and ended up not being able to boot. Had to go into recovery mode and uninstall the .run file with its --uninstall option. Gonna try again but change something, I guess...
EDIT: Okay, I figured it out, much simpler than I thought. The mistake I made the last time I tried was answering "yes" when the installer asks if you want to automatically update xorg.conf. Apparently, you want to answer "no" to that. I always install my driver this way when it comes to Ubuntu, so you'd think I'd eventually remember stuff like this (truth be known, I put off updating graphics drivers as long as possible for fear of something going wrong).
If anyone else gets confused like I was, referring to this tutorial might help. [External Link]
Now I'm rocking 364.19 so I can try the game when it finally gets done downloading.

Real shame that the most interesting looking game (Titan Souls) has no Linux version.

Finally started playing this game. Played it on my aunt's Xbox a tiny bit several years ago and it blew me away and sucked me into the world like no game had before. Can't wait to finish this semester so I can really get into it and even "finish" it for the first time.

It really is a shame because it looks like a decent game. Hope it gets finished no matter what happens and regardless of who's telling the truth.

Considering the niche nature of these titles I hope the Linux sales can convince them we're worth the effort... I'm not personally interested in this particular VN but love the genre and most things Japanese and am extremely irritated with how few great Japanese games get a Linux version. It would not be okay if Spike Chunsoft decided it wasn't worth it because that would set a precedent for other companies considering bringing their games to Linux like them. "Why support Linux? It didn't do much for Spike Chunsoft!"

Looks pretty fun. My main beef with what I've seen so far is that you just basically play as the ball-- couldn't they have cute or cool animated characters to play as kind of like Mario Golf? Is there a Tux Golf? If there isn't, there should be.

This has been on my wishlist for as long as I've known about it, and now you've convinced me to get it. Got it "direct" via Humble Bundle so I get DRM-free builds with my Steam key.

Getting treated like we don't even exist again, what else is new? I don't even want VR but here we have yet more evidence than not even Valve really believes in our platform. Makes me so salty.
