Quoting: liamdaweDon't say that. Don't destroy my little Yakuza 0 Linux port dream. :S:Quoting: ArehandoroFeral is on a roll! And we still have to receive some more news this week from them, amazing!I would be surprised if they had anything left. I think the whole this time next week thing was meant as a hint of stuff to come before Thursday.

Quoting: mcphailI can start Stellaris without Steam and get the start menu, where I can de-/select my already installed mods/dlcs. You cannot install/download the dlc/mods from this menu through.Quoting: CobhamSteam version is DRM free already. If I launch the Steam version of CKII without launching Steam, I don't get access to my DLCs. That isn't drm-free by my measure. Is this game different?
(Edit: I suppose I might just be missing a flag or something to point to my dlcs. Does anyone know if that's the case?)

Quoting: mcphailDoes anyone know if the game gets added to the Paradox Launcher if you buy on GOG? I love the idea of a drm-free version but, with all the updates, I don't fancy struggling with GOG's archaic patching system.IF the Paradox Launcher works now on Linux why don't you buy the game from Paradox itself? Don't think that the Launcher has any form of drm. Personally I'm mostly done with GOG's poor second rate service for Linux users.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTHmm you are probably right. The cheapest RX570 are around 180€ here. That doesn't cost that much more than a 560. Will probably buy a ASUS or Saphire model. Heard bad things about Gigabyte.Quoting: LeerdeckI'm a little interested in Nier: Automata but I fear that my graphic card (Nvidia GTX 650 Ti BOOST) isn't powerful enough for a smooth experience...Didn't you want to make a step-up? RX 570 4 GB is only 170 € now when finding some good sale. I would not go below that.
I should probably wait until I get a better card. Thinking seriously about switching to a AMD card for the first time... I heard now from many people that the performance got a lot better. Don't want to buy a too expansive card so maybe a RX560 with 4GB?

Quoting: ajgpI mean sure wine and proton should be future proofed but leaving existing bugs isnt the way to do that. Plus Wayland has been going to replace X.org really soon for like the last 5 years, and yet here we are still.Add to this that most people use a nvidia card with non open source drivers. Right now I can't even switch on Ubuntu to a Wayland session because of that. Nvidia support for Wayland seems far behind.
SC Controller driver and UI version 0.4.5 is out, last release for a while

Guess the dev belongs to the people who think now the "SJWs" will take over and everything goes down. Sadly that shows the kind of unprofessional behavior that I often associate with hobby open source projects.

Quoting: devlandI can only talk about reddit but the /r/linux sub is a total utter shitshow.. I mean the sub was always a passive aggressive cesspool (that's why I stay usually away from it) but with the CoC everyone lost their marbles + I'm sure it got brigaded by certain kind of people.with all this mess, coding is not fun at allDid the new Linux kernel CoC affect this guy in any way? It doesn't seem like the two are related.
The guy stopped working on his own project because he disagrees with the policy of another project? That doesn't make sense.

To your other point. I'm pretty sure that this "uncensored adult" game has more than just nudity in it, right? And than the talk about Pornography. Sucks but because Steam will never implement a real age verification system (since countries like the USA and GB have no id card system and their user would run amok if you enforce this on them) such games are risky. If I buy pornography, I have to verify my age somehow. This isn't censorship (like some people screaming) this actually pretty common sense around the world. You also can't buy beer or cigarettes as teenager in the supermarket.. well legally I mean.

Quoting: 0aTTThe Steam key of Wolfenstein2 (uncut) for example cannot be activated in Germany. That is on Bethesda and their ridiculous overkill self-censorship. Games are now recognized as art and of course they could try bring out the game uncensored... But let's be honest, in the end they are mostly just lazy and don't care. They rather make this ridiculous BS version and don't let people use a uncut version for no fucking reason. And that is why I don't buy their Wolfenstein shit at all.

Bought the game 2 days ago. Simple but addictive gameplay and silly humor.... And many ways to die.. often!
What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

IN my spare time I play right now following games.
Total War: Warhammer - The best Total War I ever played.
Brütal Legend - Nice idea and story but sadly the open world feels a little shallow. But the Music is just awesome.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - Since CrossOver supports now 64bit applications I tested it and is works nearly flawless and looks gorgeous. The 32 bit version only supported low textures, which looked incredible bad. I like the setting and the story, I even made a paper for all the hints and relations of the characters.
