Guys don't feed trolls who are tagged as new accounts. Don't give them the attention they seek. ;)

What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?

Honestly at this point I'm over satisfied. Maybe because I'm getting older and have less time but I don't have the feeling that I miss anything important. Much more important for me would be productive software at this point.

But if I have to choose a game... I guess Overwatch would be pretty neat :)

Wine allowed me to re-live a gaming experience I had from when I was a child on Linux

Wine is a rather heated topic at the best of times
The only people who have a problem with Wine are the narrow minded ones that only care about their games and nothing else ;)

There some Linux gamers who can't imagine that Wine isn't only made for gaming. It's much bigger than that and I guess the most important (brings money to the table) branch is office software + support.

And yes Wine is a amazing technology. I'm glad that the developments is profitable for Codeweavers, even when the code is under a copy-left license. I need wine for my work flow and wouldn't have switched to Ubuntu without it. :)

Damn it looks awesome but I have to pass for now, I still have to finish PoE with the expansions. Seriously there too many games on Linux available now. Not good for my productivity ;)

Looks interesting but I don't know if I would enjoy this type of gameplay. But so far I enjoyed every single game from Klei so who knows.. Maybe I will love it?

Stellaris: Plantoid Species Pack DLC released, now you can play as spacefaring plants

@BRTE

I'm half through the comments in the forum and have a headache! Dear God.. Overreaction over the price, extreme hostile Paradox fans which defend the price and "threats" that if the dlcs don't sell well, Stellaris will not get more content. Sorry but.. What a communication cluster fuck. Makes me want to stay away from the forum for a long time...

7,99€? For a cosmetic dlc? I know that the artists put work into this and I don't expect such things for free.. But I must say I will wait for a reduced price. 8€ for offered content is too much in my opinion.

Check out this AMD video talking about Vulkan (and DirectX12)

Quoting: InspectorGidgetI actually had this argument in the linux_gaming reddit Discord channel. Gutigen claimed Vulkan would basically change everything and mean more ports, i disagreed and I got banned.
I have a RES tag for gutigen on reddit "Master of Idiocy". He has absolutely no Idea about anything. One of the stupidest people I have ever seen on the Internet.. and that means a lot!

What are you playing this weekend?

I bought too much in the GOG summer sale and also had to renew my CrossOver subscription.. my SO isn't happy about that ;)

Right now I play Prince of Persia (2008) and Stellaris. I also installed Jade Empire.. because of nostalgic reasons..

Prince of Persia is, to my surprise, really good. I hadn't high expectations for a game where you can't die.. but it's perfect after a stressful day and I love the graphic style. The story couldn't be more stereotype and full of troops but I don't play the game for the story at all. ;)

Stellaris... is a drug and I can't escape it. I also created my first mod for the game... I changed the main theme with the German intro song of the old cartoon show "Captain Future" View video on youtube.com

Well Jade Empire was one of my most beloved Bioware games. I loved the Chinese/Asia setting and to my surprise the game has aged well.
