Firefox dev clarifies there will be an AI 'kill switch'

You are probably thinking of the CEO of Brave, Brendan Eich. While he is skilled, he has been caught in a number of controversial positions.
Or, maybe you are thinking of the CEO of Proton, Andy Yen. Yes, he said some stupid things during covid, but I won't blame Vivaldi for that.

Quoting: SlayerTheChikkenI don't think so. The CEO of Vivaldi is Jon von Tetzchner, who was one of the original founders of Opera. I have never heard anything but positive comments from him.Quoting: no_information_hereb) Vivaldi has made a public no-AI statement. I prefer FF, but a good alternative is sitting there waiting.I would be careful about Vivaldi as the CEO has made some weird political statements in the past - though I'm no longer able to find any of them at all potentially due to search being scrubbed, as for Proton (this being relevant because Vivaldi ships free Proton VPN) I'm not sure of it sometimes but personally I don't use their services except email.

a) There should have already been a kill switch. I shouldn't have had to go into about:config and mess with a bunch of settings over the last few browser updates.
b) Vivaldi has made a public no-AI statement. I prefer FF, but a good alternative is sitting there waiting.
c) Mozilla really needs to move the HQ away from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The toxic inward-looking techbro culture is corrosive, no matter how much they might try to be different. Almost anywhere else would be better, maybe even Europe.

Played it on Xbox Game Pass. Pretty fun. A bit repetitive but a solid game with decent humour.

All loot is shared; your progression is not.Does this means that the story is going to be weak? Not designed for co-op campaign always makes me sad.

On a more serious note, I am not big into boomer shooters but I like the colourful style of this one.
To me, everything these days seems to be a roguelike, deckbuilder, or online team-battler. Personally, I hate all of those types of games, but I am glad that people are getting things to play that they find fun.

Add me into the Firefox camp, but I am quite fond of Vivaldi as well. If you need a chromium browser, it is pretty much the best right now (and has been for quite a while).
It works, it is fully customizable out of the box, it respects tech-savvy users, and they aren't messing with so-called "AI".

All I want is good storytelling...
So many technically brilliant games out there that leave me flat with the plot line. I hope they do better!
