Steam doesn't have a big sale on, but it does have a few titles going for cheap too. A lot of them can be found the same or cheaper on the other links though.
The next steam sale starts tomorrow... As noted here: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/the-next-three-major-steam-sale-dates-have-been-leaked.10586
...which could be a reason for massive sales at other platforms today: They want to have a bit of that cake as well. ;)

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTSince they don't dedicate to Linux completely I skip Arma. If they can guarantee me version parity with Windows I might consider it.

Like this I'd be better of using Wine instead of the non-native port.
So you're saying you would rather run the Windows version under Wine, because the port is non-native ?
Anyone else see the irony here ? :><:

Also, they're not going to dedicate to Linux when people arent buying it!!
I won't buy it anyways. And usually I'd avoid wine, except for older titles. In this case: If I play Multiplayer with friends who do use Windows and if they would lose Windows patch level paritiy - yes, then I may use Wine instead of a non-native port anyway.

Quoting: razing32Hmm , wondering if we have any German users who might know this btf GmbH firm.
If they were serious with previous projects.
Thinking to try my luck on the lowest tier that gives a game (25$)
Avtually I don't know them. So far most german companies have delivered - also when it comes to Linux ports. I think they might be someone I'd rather trust.

Space Wars: Interstellar Empires will launch into Early Access next month

Unfortunately it's turn based, so I'll skip it.

SteamOS is still alive with a new Beta, although it's a rather uninteresting one

What do we need new feature for? We need more advertising for SteamOS, a Steam Machine relaunch with reference machines from Valve, we need more Publishers publishing Linux Games and finally we need people buying all that stuff.

Features might be nice. But what exactly is SteamOS missing in your opinion?

Yes pleaasseee more competition! Maybe we can have good graphics cards again for cheap! Like back in the times when I bought a HD 5850 for only 110 € - it was incredibly fast at that time. :)

Having to pay 250-350 € to get a good graphics card like GTX 1060 (if you're fine with nVidia's closed driver) or GTX 570/580 is crazy. The prices should be somewhere < 200 €.
