Sudden Strike 4 looks like an amazing RTS that will have Linux support

...as well as online play...
Cross-platform-multiplayer?

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and XCOM 2 are both super cheap this weekend

The great discount just shows how the game got abandoned. :/

If the GTX 480 will be able to provide FPS > 50 one day (which it should) I'd be buying the game. Since the game seems to be abandoned I don't feel like this will ever gonna happen.

Quoting: johnhannibalsmithI've picked up when I hada few spare bucks based upon what I've read here, hoping to lend some support to developers and games that at least are trying to bring Linux into the fold.
Actually you shouldn't by Games before they're released on Linux for at least two reasons: 1. Maybe the release got delayed or cancelled. 2. The Linux devs won't earn a penny like that. Except for it's an in-house port.

Quoting: GuestReally a great autosport game, a game like this was something we lacked.

Project CARS 2 could also be released this year :)
Project: Cars got abandoned in terms of more platforms to be ported to.

Unfortunately I already got this game for free from the Humble Store in the past. I'll buy one/a bunch of them for my friends (and of course make sure it's counted as a Linux Sale).

@Feral: It's always counted as a Linux Sale if I buy it in your Store under the Linux section? Also in Steam? Does it matter on which system I do redeem the key and play the Game?

Finally! <3 Feral! <3

There's no Multiplayer for his one, right? You just race against the time?

Typoman: Revised is coming to Linux & SteamOS and they require Beta testers

Essentially localisation would mean to almost create a new game.

Thanks for the beta participation by the way, that was fast! (:

More performance improvements are on the way for Deus Ex and Tomb Raider on Mesa

Quoting: TheRiddickI wonder if they will need to keep applying these improvements to these sort of games each release or if they will automatically apply to other games that use the same rendering features?
The fixes do not check which game is running.
Which could also cause regressions for other games.

For example I do have bad performance with Grid: Autosport on any kernel > 4.8! I still have to find out if it's related to the Kernel, Mesa, LLVM or the game itself.

The Linux GOTY award is now over, here are the results!

Interesting to skim through the results. Still I'm not to happy with Feral Interactive. They do make perfect quality ports, there's no doubt about it. I do appreciate that as well! Still they do split the Linux and MacOS community by porting games that doesn't have a cross-platform multiplayer. It would be better not to have ported Warhammer at all, if there's no chance to get Multiplayer working. There are ~400-500 people playing the game on Windows at weekends. Most of the time there's not a single Linux game being hosted. We don't even have to talk about quickmatch ranked matches....

I'd be happy to test the game on Manjaro Linux x64. How do I register?

Edit: Sorry, I re-read the text and registered.
