Quoting: GuestDeep Silver...enough said. Their support of Dead Island was pretty poor, but still mostly playable for me.Still the METRO ports are very good! :) I'd love to see a day 1 port - still I do prefer a better port then a rushed one as well! +1 for that!
Any games coming from them or Techland I am extremely cautious of. The possible always online DRM rumors around Homefront make me even more cautious.
We'll just have to wait and see.

I guess it's Tomb Raider. Still I do wonder why they port the old game instead of the latest title. What's the idea of porting older games, when you could also port recent ones?
We Are The Dwarves, a real-time tactical adventure now on Linux, some thoughts

I have the same feeling:
Pros:
* Nice setting!
* Nice graphics!
* Nice story!
Cons:
* translation (to german) is bad
* original english language needs more polishing as well
* textures do look a bit blurry sometimes
* performance crumbled to almost unplayable after getting in touch with the second dwarve (from 60 to 5 FPS)
Apart from that it's pretty hard. But that's neither good or bad if you ask me. You just have to like that. About liking: I'd love to love the game, but still, as said, it needs more polishing!

[0] I do use Arch Linux almost only. Don't think I do like $MS. That's not the point of my post.

Quoting: CimerydNow, I'm no fan of Microsoft, but may Gabe be forcing their hand a bit here? He is taking his toys and sharing with all the neighbours, of course Microsoft will want their own toys. Vendor lock-in is literally their corporate strategy and has been for twenty years! Did anyone expect their own games to be sold through Steam? Did anyone expect them to silently sit by and allow Linux to catch up? It's freaking Microsoft!It's nothing we shouldn't have expected! Of course $MS will try to distribute their games forcefull on their eco system only. Yes - $MS does contract third party companies for $MS story only - but apart from that Counter Strike, Dota and Half Life - some of the most played games worldwide - are Steam exclusive. May it run on windows, linux and mac or not: It's still exclusive on their platform. So what's your problem guys? More competition is always a nice thing to have! :) [0]

If you have Mac ports up and running for many years already it might not be to hard. Blizzard games have had a OpenGL render path for allmost all the time of there very existence. Still support is an issue due to the fact there're so many different distributions. Still they might focus only on Ubuntu LTS or SteamOS.
Steam now has over 1800 games available for SteamOS & Linux

I'm waiting for "Homefront: Revolution"! The game looks just incredible!
What I'm missing is a really nice RTS game on linux. There're so many turn based strategy games and I really don't like that kind of game at all. Blizzard? Where are you? I wanna have a native Linux port!!!!! Those guys seem to sleep still.
+1 for "The Witcher III" of course. Actually I did write an E-Mail to them asking for their linux release schedule for that game as well as GOG Universe. Let's just see what they'll answer.
+1 Batman
+1 for some very nice indie games (please don't spam low quality games like what in the past happened) as well as some more nice AAA titles.
PS: Valve? Humble? GOG? Ryan C. Gordon? Feral? I do love you guys! As well as many more people and companies who do commit in investing in our so beloved OS! <3
