Well, Attila runs better in DirectX mode on Windows, but when it comes to the OpenGL mode the performance is pretty much the same on both systems (while using a Nvidia card).
Surprisingly, on my AMD card (R9 280X) the game actually performs better on Linux than Windows (again, in OpenGL mode).

Quoting: tadzikGlad to hear that, is probably my inability to survive in a game like this that influenced my view above.Quoting: dubigrasuI suppose that in a game where everyone is using the controller you have equal chances, but (as much as I like the controller) in a normal game playing with it is an exercise in futility. It's honestly not that bad. I played a couple rounds myself both on mouse and on a steampad, and while of course it was easier for me to quickly snap my aim to someone unexpected with a mouse than with a pad, most of the trouble I got into were because of my stupid positioning and the lack of map knowledge rather than missing mechanical skills.

I also have no problems with this game on an Nvidia card:

I have no problems with the game's performance, but the game itself...IDK, it doesn't "click" for me. It feels and looks like an old average game.
Hope I'll change my mind.

Quoting: linuxgamerMy thoughts exactly. I suppose that in a game where everyone is using the controller you have equal chances, but (as much as I like the controller) in a normal game playing with it is an exercise in futility.Quoting: dubigrasuSo you can play this with the controller and survive? Most people can't even survive using the mouse, including myself. I think its harder than CS:GO, as I don't want to lay down somewhere for minutes to be shot from the side.

I also think they went too far with softening the shadows, you can barely see them sometimes.

Quoting: CreakThat's true, but I remember seeing this on Unity 4 too. Is more obvious now unfortunately.Quoting: dubigrasuAll shadows are still there, only this time they are soft shadows instead of hard shadows, so harder to notice.Yep (some shadows are better indeed), but it definitely needs some tweaking because it seems that some NPCs are floating above the ground.

They were definitely too sharp with Unity 4, but there are almost missing with Unity 5.
